When I was younger and preparing to go to Japan a couple of friends teased me that I wanted to go because I dreamed of "being an anime character." It was just a joke at the time, but I must say with my blue hair somedays I do feel like an anime character...only with too small eyes. It was with that sense of fun that I couldn't resist this feline headband and pairing it with such a sweet vintage dress. The headband definitely takes the look off-kilter from my usual style, but I walked around with a smile on my face all day at how funny it was. The headband is not an everyday sort of accessory, but I will be getting a lot of wear out of this gingham dress this summer--it's too perfect.
